I am Uba Obasi,
a UX - Product Designer based in Los Angeles.
Purpose
I enjoy creating solutions for streaming services, e-commerce transactions, and mobile apps. I like the process of improving existing products and services to enhance everyday life.
Regarding design, I'm constantly looking for areas to improve products, tap into emerging technologies, and prepare for future market shifts.
My goal is to utilize design in aiding humanitarian efforts, particularly in sustainability and transportation.
Experience
I am currently a Sr. Product Designer at NAX Group. Previously, I worked as a UX Designer for NBCUniversal, Best Buy, and Platerate. I completed my User Experience Design education at Santa Monica College. As an LMU Economics graduate and former advertising professional at Microsoft, I've gained first-hand experience in marketing strategy, storytelling, and technology.
Passions
In my free time, you'll catch me biking to the beach, attending a music festival, competing on a court, exploring new cities abroad, and appreciating different cultures.
